Nick Cannon posted these photos of his wife Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj on Twitter today. The shots are from the filming of the “Up Out My Face” remix video. It seems this may be the first single from Mariah’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel remix album due in February.
Soooo cute.
In other Mariah news, “We Belong Together” was named Song of the Decade by Billboard.
So, Mariah shows up to a promotional event to promote her album in a Phantom decorated with decals of her album images. Of course, people start hating. When a “diva” promotes her album, she must be an egomaniac. Hmm…
Between hosting SNL and pissing of Winona Judd by cleaning up at the CMA Awards, Taylor Swift signed a deal for her own line of greeting cards. So random.
The line is through a partnership with American Greetings and will be available next spring.
She’s also on the super sparkly In Style December issue right now.

Kudos to Stacey McBride-Irby, a mother of two, and 12-year Barbie designer. She’s behind Mattel’s new “So In Style” (S.I.S.), a line of dolls that has my grown ass thoroughly excited.
There’s been some buzz about these dolls for a while, and Mattel just announced the line’s official launch. McBride-Irby wanted to create a line of dolls that her daughter could see herself in and the result is definitely more than just a black Barbie doll.
I always hated how black Barbie was just Barbie dipped in chocolate. Same. Exact. Face. The S.I.S. dolls have fuller lips, wider noses, and different skin tones and hair textures. Grace, the main S.I.S. doll, is brown, while her besties Trichelle and Kara are light and dark-skinned. The girls each have a little sister who looks up to them. Each of their sisters is also another shade of black (gasp!) with the line representing all the beautiful colors we come in.
There’s even a Kara hair doll made with curly hair that can be straightened, a salon chair and yes – some extra hair!
The AP is reporting that Eminem’s music publisher Eight Mile Style is suing Apple for selling his music on iTunes without proper permission. Apple is basically telling Em to holla at his boy, claiming that Dr. Dre’s Aftermath gave the company all the permission they needed. Now Aftermath is also being sued by Eight Mile Style for “wrongfully collecting” $4 million from the songs that were placed on iTunes.
If all sides don’t reach a settlement by Wednesday, a trial will begin in Detroit on Thursday.

While promoting her film Precious at the Toronto International Film Festival Mariah was asked about her “performance as Eminem” in the “Obsessed” video. Mariah responded, “I was not him. That had blonde hair. I wasn’t petite.” I think she just called him “that” too.
In another recent interview on French radio Mariah said, “I don’t know that is,” when asked about Shady.
And Em’s uber gross diss song? “…I don’t know if somebody wants to write their little songs. I haven’t heard them on the radio, I don’t know what’s going on with that,” MC quipped.
I doubt she’ll be asked about Eminem when she appears on Oprah today to show off the fabulous throwback hair, perform, and promote Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
Tyler Perry’s eighth film, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, was number one at the box office this weekend, bringing in $24 million. TP proved once again that he is recession-proof, critic-proof and had a solid opening weekend during what is usually a ho-hum box office weekend.
Oprah and Whitney had so much to talk about that the interview, which opens her 24th season, had to be split into two episodes.
In this 30 second clip, Oprah asks Whit about Bobby, the worst of the drugs and tries to figure out where the hell her child was in all the madness. We also get a glimpse of Oprah watching in tears as Whitney sings on stage.
